Candidates (men and women) willing to be a part of Indian Air Force as commissioned officers in Flying and Ground Duty (both technical and non-technical) can apply
Exam will be conducted on – August 24 and 25, 2019.
There are different eligibility criteria for flying and different branches.
Total Vacancies – 242
Syllabus – Graduation level, except question under Numerical Ability section.
Age Limit: It varies as per the branch viz.
Flying Branch (AFCAT & NCC Entry): 20 – 24 years as on July 1, 2020, i.e. born between July 2, 1996 – July 1, 2000.
Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical): 20 – 26 years as on July 1, 2020 i.e. born between July 2, 1994 – July 1, 2000.
The DOB accepted by the IAF is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate recognized by an Indian University
Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course.
Widows/ Widowers and divorcees below 25 years are also not eligible.
